Danmarks Tekniske Museum redesign

Logo Design, Brand Identity Design, Design System

Danmarks Tekniske Museum, (Danish Museum of Science & Technology), is a renowned science museum that houses one of the largest collections of science and technology in Northern Europe. The museum is currently located in Helsingør, Denmark but will soon relocate to the well-known Svanemølleværket building, a former power station in central Copenhagen, Denmark. With the relocation, the museum would like to rebrand themselves and reach a larger audience as a modern contemporary museum.

My vision for the redesign is centered around the historical Svanemølleværket building, by utilizing it as a design element and logo for the museum. The typography, color palette, and visual layout of graphic elements used showcases the modernized vision of the future museum. The graphical elements create a contemporary feel of the museum that can be easily replicated for future exhibits, making it a recognizable and sustainable design for the future museum.
